SkinPen Precision in Dunstable
Skin rejuvenation that works with your skin, not against it.
If your skin feels dull, uneven, less firm or simply isn't looking as healthy as it once did, SkinPen Precision can help support your skin's natural ability to repair and renew itself.
SkinPen is a medical microneedling treatment that creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating your natural healing response and encouraging collagen and elastin production. The result is healthier-looking, smoother and more resilient skin over time.
Book a consultation and we'll look at your skin together.
Please note all patients should attend a face to face consultation prior to this treatment.

It's not about changing your skin overnight
SkinPen is about supporting your skin's natural processes. Rather than simply treating what you can see on the surface, microneedling works within the skin to encourage collagen production and improve overall skin quality.
It can help with:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Loss of firmness
Uneven skin texture
Enlarged pores
Acne scarring
Certain types of scarring
Uneven skin tone
Overall skin quality and radiance
Your skin and your concerns are unique, so I'll always assess whether SkinPen is appropriate for you before
Who is SkinPen suitable for?
SkinPen can be suitable for many different skin concerns and skin types, but it isn't automatically the right treatment for everyone. During your consultation, we'll discuss your skin, your concerns, your medical history and what you're hoping to achieve. I'll then recommend whether SkinPen is appropriate and whether you would benefit from a course of treatments.
What does SkinPen treatment involve?
Before treatment, your skin will be cleansed and prepared, and topical anaesthetic can be used to help keep you comfortable. The SkinPen device is then carefully moved across the treatment area, creating controlled micro-channels within the skin. This stimulates your body's natural repair response and encourages new collagen and elastin production. Treatment time depends on the area being treated
What can I expect afterwards?
Your skin may appear red and feel warm or sensitive immediately after treatment. This usually settles over the following days, although the exact recovery period varies between individuals. You'll be given detailed aftercare advice following your treatment, including guidance around skincare, SPF and when to restart active products. It's important to protect your skin while it heals.
How many treatments will I need?
SkinPen can be used as a single treatment, but for concerns such as scarring, texture and collagen stimulation, a course of treatments may provide more noticeable results. We'll discuss what would be appropriate for your skin rather than automatically recommending a set number of treatments. Your skin continues to remodel and produce collagen after treatment, so results develop gradually rather than appearing overnight.
SkinPen and your skincare routine
I don't believe treatments should replace good skincare. In fact, my philosophy is:
80% home care.
20% treatments.
Daily SPF, a healthy skin barrier, hydration and the right active ingredients all play an important role in maintaining your results. SkinPen can then be used as part of a wider plan to support your skin's health and quality.
SkinPen with exosomes
For suitable patients, SkinPen can also be combined with exosomes as part of a personalised skin rejuvenation plan. We'll discuss whether this is appropriate for you during your consultation.
When SkinPen may not be suitable
There are situations where microneedling may need to be postponed or may not be appropriate. This can include active skin infections, certain inflammatory skin conditions, some medications and other medical circumstances. If you have an active tan, treatment may also need to be delayed. Your consultation is an important part of making sure treatment is safe and appropriate for you.
