What is a chemical peel?
A chemical peel uses a carefully selected solution to exfoliate the skin and encourage the renewal of new skin cells. Depending on the peel chosen, it can help improve the appearance of:

Obagi Blue Peel Radiance
I offer the Obagi Blue Peel Radiance, a professional superficial peel designed to refresh and brighten the appearance of the skin. It can be particularly useful when the aim is to improve: skin brightness, uneven tone, texture, congestion, fine lines and overall radiance.
It's a great option when your skin needs a little reset without committing to a more intensive treatment.
You don't need to know which peel you need
There are different types and strengths of chemical peels, and the strongest option isn't necessarily the right option for your skin.
Before treatment, I'll assess your skin and discuss your concerns, current skincare routine and previous treatments. I'll then recommend the most appropriate option for you.
Sometimes that might be a peel. Sometimes it might be skincare or another treatment altogether. I'll always be honest about what I think your skin needs.
Your treatment
Your skin will be cleansed and prepared before the peel is applied. You may experience some warmth, tingling or mild discomfort during treatment, depending on the peel being used.
Your skin may appear slightly red afterwards and, depending on the peel, you may experience dryness or peeling over the following days. I'll explain exactly what to expect and provide your aftercare advice.
After your peel
Looking after your skin following a peel is just as important as the treatment itself. You'll be advised on:
• Which skincare products to pause
• When to restart active ingredients
• How to keep your skin hydrated
• Daily SPF
• What to avoid while your skin is recovering
• When you can return to your usual routine
Don't pick or pull at peeling skin. Let your skin recover naturally.
Chemical peels and other treatments
Peels can work beautifully as part of a wider skin health plan. Depending on your goals, we may also discuss treatments such as Obagi Medical skincare (for consistent, targeted home care), SkinPen Precision (for collagen stimulation, texture and overall skin quality) and Profhilo (for hydration, firmness and skin quality).
The best treatment plan isn't necessarily the one with the most treatments. It's the one that makes sense for your skin.
When a peel may not be suitable
A chemical peel isn't suitable for everyone at every stage. Your treatment may need to be postponed if your skin is irritated, compromised, actively sunburnt or has recently had certain treatments or procedures.
I'll assess your skin and skincare routine before treatment and let you know if I feel a peel is appropriate. If you've been using active or prescription skincare, I'll also advise you on any preparation or temporary changes needed.
