Dermal Fillers & Lip Augmentation in Dunstable
Subtle enhancement. Thoughtful treatment. Still you.
Dermal filler can be used to restore subtle volume, enhance natural features and support facial balance. But more filler doesn't necessarily mean a better result.
My approach is conservative and considered. I want your result to look like you, not like you've had filler.
Please note all patients have to attend a face to face consultation prior to treatment.

You don't need to know what you need
Everyone's face is different.
During your consultation, we'll look at your features, discuss what you'd like to improve and talk honestly about what may or may not be appropriate.
Sometimes filler will be the right option. Sometimes another treatment, skincare or simply doing nothing may be more appropriate.
I'll always tell you what I genuinely think. There is never any pressure to have treatment.
Lip augmentation
Lip filler can be used to subtly enhance the lips while maintaining natural movement and proportion. Depending on your individual anatomy and goals, treatment may help to: add subtle volume, improve lip definition, enhance the natural shape of the lips, improve symmetry, restore volume that has reduced over time, and create a softer, more hydrated appearance.
My aim is not to create an exaggerated or overly defined lip. Natural doesn't mean doing nothing. It means doing enough.
Dermal filler can also be used for…
Depending on your individual needs and suitability, dermal filler may be considered for areas such as: lips, chin, jawline, cheeks, facial balancing and subtle restoration of lost volume.
Not every area is suitable for every person. I don't routinely offer under-eye filler, and I won't recommend treatment simply because a particular area can technically be treated.
What does dermal filler do?
Dermal fillers are injectable gels, commonly based on hyaluronic acid, that can be placed into specific areas to add volume, improve definition or restore volume that has reduced over time. The amount and placement of filler will depend on your anatomy, skin and individual goals. The aim is always to create a balanced result rather than simply adding volume.
What can I expect?
1. Consultation — We'll discuss what you'd like to change, your medical history, previous aesthetic treatments and your expectations. I'll assess your facial anatomy and talk you through the options available. If I don't think filler is appropriate, I'll tell you.
2. Treatment — If you're suitable and decide to proceed, the filler is carefully placed into the agreed treatment area. Treatment time varies depending on the area being treated.
3. Recovery — Some swelling, redness, tenderness and bruising can occur following treatment. Swelling can be particularly noticeable after lip filler and may take several days to settle. You'll receive detailed aftercare advice and guidance on what to expect following your treatment.
4. Review — We'll review your result where appropriate and make sure you're happy with the outcome.
How much filler will I need?
There isn't a standard amount that everyone needs. I prefer to treat conservatively and reassess rather than automatically adding more product. In some cases, treating one area at a time can create a more balanced and natural result. More isn't always better.
Will I look like I've had filler?
That's not the goal. My philosophy is noticeable, not detectable. I want your friends to notice that you look refreshed, balanced or well, without necessarily knowing why.
